Loes & TomToyota Hilux (2019) | Dutch campers camperunit

Since September 2024, Tom and Loes have been fully immersed in the "traveling life." What began as a dream has now become their daily reality. "We started in Rotterdam and, via the west coast of Africa, we reached Ghana in February 2025. It feels amazing to be on this journey," says Tom. Every day brings new adventures: "Africa is so diverse and full of surprises. The people are incredibly hospitable and always willing to help," Loes enthuses. From hidden natural spots to picturesque overnight accommodations, their journey is a series of unforgettable moments.


Optimally Built and Converted Hilux

What makes this journey possible is "Our Cabin"—their custom-built 2019 Toyota Hilux with a specially designed campervan unit. "Without Our Cabin, we couldn't have this adventure," says Tom. "The campervan is completely tailored to our needs and offers us the freedom to stay anywhere."


Thanks to the expertise of Arno and his team, they have a vehicle that can take them through the rough terrain without worrying about mechanical issues. "Arno and his team have done a really good job. If we run into any problems, we can always count on their help."
